This 3-day course will introduce the failure mechanisms in insulation systems, the importance of good design, appropriate testing of prototypes and at commissioning, and methods of monitoring of the health of insulation systems.

Audience This course is suitable for a range of experiences in high voltage engineering from new graduates through to experienced professionals and senior managers who need or wish to understand: Why electrical failures occur in high-voltage equipment; How the health of such equipment may be monitored; and The methods of design and testing of such equipment.
