Members

The membership categories are:

Governor Members are organizations with substantial and diverse levels of technical expertise requirements with a major role in the power industry and which are expected to make a long term commitment to the broad industry and API. Governor Members will each be entitled to appoint a director to the Board of API.

Principal Members are major organisations with substanial levels of reliance on technical expertise with a major role in the power industry but with fewer technical staff than Governor Members. Principal Members will be entitled to elect up to two directors from amongst themselves to the Board of API in accordance with the Constitution.

Industry Members are organisations with technical expertise in power engineering, but which have a significant role in a variety of industry sectors and have fewer power engineering technical staff than Principal Members.

Membership fees will be pooled and spent on the following three major focus areas:
