PowerChem Conference 2020 will be held on the at The Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport Hotel, Sydney, NSW from Sunday 9 - Wednesday 12 May 2021. The program begins on the evening of Sunday 9 May with a Welcome Reception. The conference and exhibition will be on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (concluding at 12.30pm), and the training courses on Wednesday afternoon. The conference dinner will be held on Monday evening.

The conference program includes plenary sessions as well as a panel discussion on a specialised topics. An exhibition runs parallel to the conference, with all refreshments focused around the exhibition area to encourage delegates to visit all booths.

The primary aim of the conference is to provide up-to-date professional development for those working in the industry globally as well as those associated with it. This conference is composed of a diverse range of key speakers, exhibitors, and three days of lectures. The format of the conference allows close interaction between speakers, presenters, exhibitors and delegates, with a number of training courses also available.

In addition to invited speakers, a number of papers have been sought from members of the international and Australian power industry.

All abstracts are currently being reviewed by the Steering Committee. Successful applicants will be notified in early April. Please be aware that upon acceptance of your paper all speakers are expected to pay and register to attend; speakers are offered the member ‘earlybird conference only’ rate. If you are interested in presenting a half-day training course on Wednesday afternoon, please get in touch.
