The API’s Power Pictionary was created in early 2024 as a fun way to generate information and awareness of the Australian power sector.

The riddles are shared fortnightly across the API’s social media platforms, and are posted in the form of emojis. The emojis spell out the answer phonetically, while the hint helps the audience to solve the riddle (examples below).

Power Pictionary is open to everyone, though the answers will only be released in each new API Community Newsletter, and each of the API’s Monthly Events Newsletter (our newest initiative to deliver information on what’s on in the Power Sector each month). If you are subscribed to the API’s Community Newsletter, you will also automatically be subscribed to our new API Monthly Events Email. If you know someone who would be interested to receive the monthly events email or would like to sign up yourself, you can do so via https://apiforms.wufoo.com/forms/-sign-up-to-the-apis-monthly-events-email-/
