The API’s AGM is on this week and we want to keep our community in the loop and remind those invited to RSVP (or designated Member organisation representatives).
API AGM and Board Meeting – 19 February 2025
These key meetings give us a chance to reflect on our progress, engage with members, and set our direction for the future. The formal representatives from our Member organisations attend and provide important feedback to the Board and staff on our efforts.
Special Partner Session After the AGM
We’re also bringing together our key partners who are also passionate about developing the power sector workforce in Australia, including CIGRE, EESA, Energy Networks Australia (ENA), Engineers Australia, Clean Energy Council, Energy Efficiency Council and the RACE for 2030 CRC.
They will share their insights on 3 key questions:
What issues do they see for power sector workforce in Australia (biggest issue)
What are they doing about it (at a high level)
What can the API do to support their efforts (with our current activities, or potential new activities)?
This session will strengthen collaboration and explore new ways to develop workforce capability and drive innovation in power engineering.
Board Strategy Session
Our Board will also hold a strategy session to shape API’s future. Building on recent work and the insights from our Partners and members, we’ll review our strategic priorities, focusing on member growth, workforce development, and strengthening partnerships.
