The Australian Power Institute (API) is thrilled to announce that registrations for the 2025 Powerful Women Undergraduate Retreat are now open, and this is your opportunity to support the next generation of female leaders in the power sector.
The Retreat, taking place 20–23 May 2025 in Melbourne, is a transformative 4-day experience designed to equip undergraduate women with the leadership skills, industry insights, and networks needed to thrive in our rapidly evolving sector.
This year, API is offering 10 fully-funded scholarships to female undergraduate students studying power-related disciplines. But we need your help to expand this impact! We are encouraging industry partners to directly sponsor female students within their networks—whether they are already on scholarships or employed over the summer—by purchasing registrations for them. By doing so, you will be investing in the future talent pipeline of our sector and directly contributing to a more diverse and innovative workforce.
What’s Included in the Powerful Women Undergraduate Retreat?
Leadership Development: Sessions focused on communication, goal-setting, and career strategy.
Networking Opportunities: Build lasting relationships with power sector leaders and peers.
Exclusive Access: Participants will also be enrolled in the year-long Powerful Women Leadership Program, which includes monthly sessions with industry executives, guest speakers, and mentoring.
